----Brazilian guitarist/composer Alexandre Klinke connected with music in his childhood, first studying classical piano, and then turning his attention to the guitar. At the age of 19, he attended university to study Journalism. There he found friends with the same passion for music and together they created the jazz band Quebra Pedra, a fixture on the Sao Paulo live music scene until its demise in 2006. 

In 2008, he traveled to Vancouver, Canada to pursue his goal of working in the music industry. Enrolling in Langara College’s Electronic Music Production program, to develop his engineering and sound design skills. He also then began recording his own original music. His style is a fusion of traditional Brazilian music with loop-based, digital-processed sounds.
